I have selected the items above as I see them as capsule collection pieces that will see you through a few seasons if not more, J Crew is on the pricey side but the styling and details just make each piece a little different and a little bit special.
It was a fab evening and a great opportunity to catch up with lovely bloggers including Keri from Chronicles of Dolliedaydream, to talk all things fashion!
I love a little trip into town for a little inspiration, are you a J Crew fan, have you bought anything from there, if money were no object my wardrobe would be full of lots of lovely items but as that is not the case a girl can dream and maybe buy one or two pieces!!
I would love to hear your thoughts and comments as always, Frances xx
You've picked out some brilliant pieces there Frances. I'm just admiring your sandals too, loving those xx

DeleteMy sister went into J Crew in Chicago to buy some Sophie Webster shoes, and was told they were only online! She was seriously disappointed. I'm now wondering did she go too early, before their launch? Seems odd
ReplyDeleteIt does doesn't it? You would have thought they would have been in flagship stores too, they are fab!

DeleteLucky so and so. I would love to have gone as I have been a big fan of Laura Fantacci for a long time. I love her simple style. I have one problem in that I cannot replicate the heeled look (anything over 3 inches and I am buggered) I adore your' picks and you looked gorgeous for your' trip. H xx
ReplyDeleteYep, Laura is stunning and has such immaculate style, I am rubbish on heels too but those Rikos were so well made it kinda made it possible to walk!! Xx
DeleteI was thinking about finally giving in to a grey Tippi jumper but now I have it in my head that I want a yellow one! Must be all the sun that we've just had, going to my head. Your J Crew night outfit looks just perfect and good move about the spare shoes in the bag. I finally got my H&M tan sandals - they're keepers!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit looked lovely - understated but so chic and stylish. I love some of the things you've picked out, especially the drapey top in the first pic!
