Style Theory: The Perfect Cosy Jumper = a jumper that gives you a hug in the cold weather and looks fabulous for winter drinks in christmassy country pubs.
Jumpers are such a key look this season, they look great with jeans and equally as good with a sequinned or leather skirt. Completely versatile and easy to wear and perfect as the weather starts to get really cold. For those of you who are not jumper fans, I have added some fabulous cosy cardigans.
The best of the jumpers from the Streetstylers:
|
Love the thickness of this polo, black looks great under a grey coat |
|
Gorgeous poloneck |
|
Love the stripes under the fisherman jumper..the cuff also looks fabulous. |
|
Great idea to pair black polo under a blazer with white jeans. |
|
Gorgeous pale blue colour |
|
Love this look (also love the hairstyle) |
|
I adore the look of the pale grey jumper with a fur snood |
|
Cute, tasteful Christmas jacquard jumper |
|
Fab oversized jumper |
|
Love the grey marl jumper and sequin skirt |
Now for the best on the Highstreet:
Style Tips:
Buy big when going for a cosy jumper
If big on top wear with skinny jeans
Layer underneath your poloneck with a thermal top (uniqlo do fab ones) then wear with a blazer
Add a tartan scarf to brighten the look
Jumper dresses look great with leather look leggings

I love love love a chunky knit - LOVE THEM!!
ReplyDeleteOoooo me too I am sooo into cosy jumpers!! Xxx
DeleteI've been trying them on left right and centre. I tried a pretty good one in H&M one the other day but I didn't buy. It's one of their more expensive ones for H&M http://www.hm.com/gb/product/16412?article=16412-B It got the seal of approval when I showed it on Instagram so I'm now thinking should I or shouldn't I?
ReplyDeleteAnd that coatigan looks fab on you - it's one of those I would have walked past but you make it look so contemporary. Some people would wear that and it would die a morbid death but you've got a knack of making things look really good and modern. It's a skill.
Yes, yes that jumper is gorge, you are right a little pricey but the fabric content looks pretty good so I would go for it. It would look so cute with a little flippy back skirt, black opaques and your trainers and your grey coat (I think you have one?!) the coatigan is just one of those snuggly cardis, pretty useful I hope Not so much of a skill more hit or miss most days! xx
DeleteFab coatigan....as Sue says you have styled it perfectly x
